Atlas LSAT Teachers - Angela Guido

Angela began her teaching career after graduating from Yale with a degree in philosophy. She taught her first classes in English as a second language in Seoul, South Korea at a variety of institutions including pre-schools, colleges, hospitals, and corporations. After two years of teaching, she took the LSAT and got admitted to several law schools, but decided, just before she matriculated, that she did not in fact want to be a lawyer. So she did the obvious next thing: she went to work in the training and development department of a law firm in Korea.
It made sense at the time, anyway, and through her work with the law firm, Angela moved into a large multinational corporation in Korea, where she coordinated and led training initiatives for hundreds of employees. And then she went to business school.
After her MBA, Angela joined the Boston Consulting Group, where she worked as a consultant for two years and then led the firm’s Women’s Initiative for another two years. It was at this point that Angela joined Manhattan GMAT as an instructor, and she has been leading live classes in Chicago for two years.
Deciding it was time to turn her strong verbal skills towards her first love among standardized tests, Angela joined the faculty of Atlas LSAT. Angela earned her 99th percentile score (172) on the LSAT in December of 2009. In addition to teaching standardized tests, Angela also works for MBA Mission, where she coaches graduate school applicants to perfect their personal stories in their essays. When she is not teaching or taking tests, Angela writes screenplays, produces films, and does magic for kids in hospitals.
